Dr. Jay Walker
Dr. Jay Walker is an experienced General Practitioner with a diverse clinical background and a special interest in minor surgery, sports medicine, and pain management. He began his academic journey with a degree in Medical Sciences from Durham University, followed by a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Newcastle University, qualifying in 2008.
Dr. Walker undertook his clinical training across North East England, including placements in plastic surgery at Durham and the Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI), vascular and cardiothoracic surgery (JCUH), pediatrics, and extensive experience in emergency medicine. He completed his GP training and became a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in 2013.
Throughout his career, Dr. Walker has maintained a strong focus on procedural medicine, with expertise in joint injections, pain management services, and minor operations. He currently practices in general practice, where he combines evidence-based care with practical, hands-on treatments to support the health and wellbeing of his patients.
